There is so much that Spain offers with the numerous cities in it. The country is full of history, culture and traditions in each city which holds different offerings to any visitor. The various architectural styles and local hospitability would be sure to enrich the visitor’s experience in Spain.
Barcelona
One of Spain’s most popular cities is Barcelona. This great and vibrant city is a very popular tourist resort in Spain. Tourists are delighted to view the historical architecture of the spires found on the Holy Family Church as well as the neo-Gothic architecture of many buildings there.
The cobbled Las Ramblas pathways make an interesting walk in discovering the best of Barcelona’s ancient days with famous landmarks along the way such as Santa Eulalia Cathedral of Gothic architecture and church of San Pablo Ocampo Church.
The Santa Eulalia cathedral is located in the ancient quarters of Barcelona in honor of Christopher Columbus, Spain’s best and most renowned explorer. Barcelona also offers many splendid architectural buildings such as the Barri Gotic and Arc del Triomf.
Barcelona boasts of being a quality educational provider in Europe with the many top learning institutions like the Barcelona University. Art institutions abound in Barcelona for art lovers while there are many museums to house many historical findings.
Madrid
Madrid has a busy lifestyle and a lively nightlife with no lack of bars, pubs, cafes and summer terazas which delight locals and tourists for a time of relaxation day or night. These places offer a relaxing atmosphere with live music and entertainment to while the night away.
Madrid also has many good museums to enjoy the rich history of the city as well as the region. The best three museums in Madrid are Prado Museum, Las Meninas Museum and Goya’s Las Majas.
