Short Tours around Spain By Ricky Ponting at 2012-08-24 00:10:37

Spain is a big country with many cities, towns and villages as well as islands to explore. It is impossible to see all of Spain in a day or in one holiday trip. Hence, wise tourists would need to plan their itinerary carefully to get the best of sights and fulfillment in a Spanish holiday.
There are plenty of discoveries in Spain besides the solid architectures and natural landscapes. Spain is rich in its diverse and colorful cultures with steep traditions and folklore that are still currently practiced today. One would enjoy many of these through short trips or tours around Spain depending on the objective of the tourists and the available time in Spain.
Jerez and Cadiz Day trips
Short trips during the day around Spain are very popular with tourists who may fly in for business. They may have a free morning or afternoon in between their busy work schedule to slot in a short day trip to get a good glimpse of Spain before flying off.
Jerez and Cadiz are two great Spanish cities which offer a lot of delightful discoveries; they include ancient monuments, fine locally produced wine and locally bred horses. This day tour costs only 105 € which includes hotel pick up and drop offs.
Tourists would travel comfortably in an air-conditioned minivan that seats 8-12 people for a small group tour. The journey to Jerez de la Frontera brings one into the delightful sherry vineyards where a guided tour is conducted at the local Bodegas or local wineries where the region’s famous sherry is produced.
There would be an opportunity to taste some fine sherry wine and be educated on the intricacies of producing wine with a visit to the vineyard. Then tourists move on to the School of Royal-Andalusian Riding where a horse performance of 1 ½ hours would delight them with the well trained horses doing more than trotting around.
Cadiz and Ibiza would allow one to enjoy its many historical monuments as it is a well known historical city center. The experienced tour guide would offer the relevant historical information about each ancient structure in the preferred language.
Ronda Day Trip
The day trip to Ronda is only 115 € and is a worthy choice for one who likes adventure. There would be a 3-hour guided tour on major attractions which include the famous ancient bullring and spectacular “Puente Nuevo†bridge. All entrance fees to these sights are included in the day trip cost except for gratuities and meals.
There is always free time for leisurely discoveries in Ronda before the tour ends.
Club Villamar offers hundreds of miles of beautiful beaches, rich cultural history and by far the most popular holiday destination, just visit villa playa daro and know more about us. Also read my articles at : Ricky Ponting's article and do check out my bookmarks at Ricky Ponting's bookmarks.
